Steve
Okelberry joined his father in the irrigation field as a hobby 20 years ago.
Steve and his dad wanted to revolutionize the service and repair
industry.
Steve obtained his irrigation license in 1994, and has attended
numerous courses and has years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and
system repairs.
Steve
obtained his associates of science degree at Kilgore Jr. College, with further
education obtained at Texas Tech University and most recently University of
Houston.
Steve
Okelberry uses his experience and training in all aspects of the company.
From running the office to Service and Repair, Steve Okelberry takes
pride in knowing that all of his crews have the most updated information and
equipment available.
Steve researches and ensures that all trucks are equipped with the best
and most current electronic locating and troubleshooting equipment.
Steve designs all new sprinkler systems utilizing RainCad’s computer
software package.
Steve is
an active member in all of the Irrigation Associations.
Steve is the President of the Houston Gulf Coast Irrigation
Association, a member of the Texas Turf Irrigation Association, and is also a
member of the National Irrigation Association.
